Terms of Use

Using this site means accepting these terms. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the site and its search tools.

This privately owned site has no government, police, jail, or corrections affiliation. Neither it nor its advertising partners provides FCRA-covered services. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency, and its information cannot be used for credit, employment, insurance, housing, or another covered decision.

Nature of the Service

This is a private reference that points readers toward Riley County and Kansas public-record resources and optional outside research tools. It holds no official records, cannot confirm custody, cannot release anyone, and cannot file a request or court paper for a visitor.

Acceptable Use Rules

Access is conditioned on lawful and respectful use.

  • Do not violate any law through the site.
  • Do not stalk, threaten, harass, or harm another person.
  • Do not use information for an FCRA-covered decision.
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access or defeat security controls.
  • Do not run bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools.
  • Do not disrupt service for other visitors.

No Consumer Reports

The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not offer credit reports, background checks, consumer reports, or screening services, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. Users agree not to apply its content to hiring or firing, tenant or housing decisions, creditworthiness, insurance premiums, licensing, permits, government-program eligibility, or any other FCRA-regulated purpose.

Links and Outside Services

Links may lead to RCPD, jail information, booking reports, courts, corrections agencies, legal resources, news publishers, and outside search providers. A link does not endorse an outside service. This site is not responsible for its content, data practices, terms, prices, or availability.

No Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that content is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that a partner search is thorough. Custody and public records change often, and nothing here is an official government statement.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its owners, contributors, and partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from access, use, inability to use, or reliance on the service.

User Indemnity

A user agrees to defend and hold the site, its owners, and partners harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's conduct, misuse, or breach of these terms.

Intellectual Property

Unless another owner is identified, the site's original text, graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Riley County Busted Mugshots or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, or altered without written permission.

Changes and Access

These terms may be revised at any time and take effect when posted. Access may also be suspended or revoked at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

Kansas Law

These terms are governed by Kansas law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kansas.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay effective. The affected provision will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
